Simon Vreeswijk

Simon is our SEO & Internet Marketing Specialist and heads Stikky Media, a division of North Studio that is dedicated to SEO, Social Media Marketing, and all other aspects of online marketing. In other words, if a company wants to own a top spot in Google search rankings, create brand awareness online, or drive traffic to their website, Simon is their man.

A graduate of Q College (formerly VSBT) and former North Studio intern, Simon has more than five years experience as a Web Developer and SEO specialist. He has taught basic computer courses, office courses, and provided one-on-one Macromedia Dreamweaver training as well as teaching the Internet Marketing portion of Q College’s Web Developer Diploma course. Simon also provides in-house tech support for Q College. In addition to Internet Marketing, Simon is skilled in Drupal Development, Wordpress, CSS, HTML, PHP, MySQL, amongst other aspects of web design.

One of the traits that makes Simon so amazing at his job is his superhuman efficiency when he gets in the “zone”. He puts on his headphones, shuts out the world, and accomplishes, in an afternoon, what it takes others a few days to do. His laid back, “no problem, we can do it” attitude inspires confidence and puts everyone he works with at ease. Simon’s genuine interest in social media means he does a remarkable job of keeping up with the ever-changing world of online marketing. When he can resist the siren song of his computer, Simon is likely doing something athletic or outdoorsy. He loves hockey, tennis, softball, mountain biking, running, and swimming as well as hiking and camping.
